VEX ROBOTICS
VEX Robotics is a kit that includes motors, gears, screws, nuts, metal pieces, a variety of other pieces, and a joystick to control the robot. Competitions have varied from year to year.
2017 Contest
The focus of this contest is for the team members to be able to think on their feet. Two robots will compete at a time on separate courses. Each course will be known ahead of time but will have at least one variable. This value of this variable will be disclosed at the start of the round. The competitors will have to calculate the time it will take them to complete each course. Points will be given for how close to the predicted value they hit.
