Ms. Karen Dick
Ms. Dick teaches 5-8th grade science at Holy Redeemer. She received her Bachelor of Science degree from USI and her Master of Education degree from ISU. She previously taught 3-8th grade science at St. James in Haubstadt. Ms. Dick also taught children's classes at USI for a number of years as part of the Super Summer program.
Her students in 5-8th grade science study of variety of topics in life, earth and physical sciences. Some specific activities include Chemistry Week, Science Discovery Week, and The Mystery Festival. Karen is involved in Genius Hour with 8th grade, Makerspace, and believes in a hands-on approach to teaching science.
Ms. Dick is a lifelong “westsider” of Evansville, having attended WCS and Mater Dei. She enjoys cooking, reading, crocheting, and spending time with friends and family.
