MATT SCHMITT
Matt Schmitt is the junior high math teacher at Holy Redeemer Catholic Grade School. In 2001, he earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Southern Indiana with a Major in Mathematics and Mathematics Education and a Minor in Physical Education. He completed his Master of Art in Teaching Degree at Oakland City University in 2009. Matt typically works with students after school on Thursdays if they need help with math. He is the coordinator for VEX robotics, safety patrol, and 8th grade graduation. Some of his hobbies and interests include: playing disc golf, card games such as Clabber and Sheephead, and spending time with his family. A favorite quote is: “Being stuck isn’t failure.
